Cthulhu seems a bit Big in this pic. Isn't he just "mountain sized," not "planet sized?"


I love the pic, I just think it should've been named something else, like "Azathoth Rising."

I'm not familiar with all the lore within the works of H.P. Lovecraft. I mentioned above in an earlier comment that I was inspired by something else, which was inspired by Lovecraft. I must concede it is not at all representative of his works, but the quote in my artist's comments fit so well. This was originally a prompt for one of DA's contests. I figured I'd just roll with it. :P

If you mean to say it's wrong as in it's not true to Lovecraftian lore, you're correct. I was inspired by a game I played a long time ago called Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. It has several cut scenes where the Lovecraft inspired "Gods" are seen sleeping within their "prisons".
