The Winter Roseby *yohkai

I was raking some leaves and pruning in my grandmother’s garden when I saw this rose. Its petals were slightly aged but it looked so full of life in the my grandma’s dormant garden. I thought this title fit nicely.

All my flower photos have been in my grandmother's garden...it's like a small magical world back there. lol

There are a few flowers like that in my mom's garden...some really stand out, especially when the other flowers have withered.

I've never been one to garden really, but I must admit that seeing my grandmother's really makes me want to start my own. It's given me some interesting surprises in the last couple of years I've been working on it. I've seen wild rabbits, hummingbirds, and some persistent flora like this rose. Heheh

I know exactly what you mean.. I'm not much of a gardener but my mom has a green thumb lol. I love it in spring when everything's in full bloom. At least you've seen cute animals...I've seen skunks and moles lol.
